Warranty Information

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This Warranty Information page explains the warranty support provided by GOLAVON LIMITED for digital software licences purchased through golavon.com. It explains what is covered, the warranty period, what is not covered, how statutory rights apply, and how to make a claim. This Warranty Information should be read together with our Refund & Returns Policy, Product Authenticity & Sourcing, and Terms & Conditions.

1. Warranty Information: What Our Warranty Covers

Our Warranty Information applies to the digital licence or subscription supplied for the product shown on your order. We warrant that the licence delivered by Golavon will match the product, edition, and licence type described at the time of purchase.

Where applicable, the licence should be valid for activation in accordance with the product description and the applicable manufacturer terms. If a licence is rejected as invalid, was already redeemed before delivery, or does not match the product ordered, contact us so we can investigate the issue.

For a valid claim covered by this Warranty Information, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement licence or a refund in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy. The exact resolution depends on the nature of the issue and the applicable consumer rights.

2. Warranty Information and Warranty Period

Our own licence-validity warranty applies for 30 days from the date of digital delivery. If an activation problem covered by Section 1 appears during this period, contact us promptly with your order number and the error details so we can review the claim.

The 30-day period describes Golavon's own warranty for licence validity and initial activation issues. It does not replace or reduce any statutory rights that may apply under UK consumer law. If you believe the digital content was faulty, not as described, or otherwise failed to meet applicable legal requirements, contact us even if the 30-day period has passed.

3. What This Warranty Information Does Not Cover

This Warranty Information does not cover problems caused by circumstances outside the licence we supplied, including:

  • hardware, operating-system, network, or device problems unrelated to licence validity;
  • incompatibility where the applicable product page clearly stated system or platform requirements that were not met;
  • use of a licence on more devices or users than the applicable licence terms permit;
  • changes, restrictions, or account actions imposed by the manufacturer for reasons unrelated to the licence as supplied by Golavon;
  • misuse, unauthorised modification, or use that breaches the applicable software licence agreement or manufacturer terms; or
  • general training or day-to-day technical support for software features that are unrelated to activation or licence validity.

If you are unsure whether an issue falls within this Warranty Information, contact us before purchasing replacement software or making changes to your installation. We can review the order information and help identify the appropriate next step.

4. Warranty Information and Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Information limits your statutory rights. Digital content supplied to UK consumers may be protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including requirements that digital content be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose where applicable, and as described.

A contractual warranty is separate from statutory consumer rights. Therefore, the expiry of Golavon's 30-day licence-validity warranty does not automatically determine whether a customer has a statutory claim. Any such claim will be reviewed according to its circumstances and the law that applies.

5. Technical Support for Microsoft Software

Golavon handles questions relating to delivery, the product supplied, licence validity, and activation issues connected with an order. For general software use, feature support, updates, operating-system behaviour, or manufacturer-specific troubleshooting, customers may also use Microsoft Support.

Microsoft develops and maintains its software products, while Golavon is responsible for the product and licence we sell. If you are unsure whether a problem relates to the licence or to the software itself, contact us first and we will help identify the appropriate support route.

6. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a claim under this Warranty Information:

  1. Email contact@golavon.com or call +44 798 859 8701.
  2. Provide your order number, the product purchased, and a clear description of the issue.
  3. Include the exact activation error message or relevant screenshot where this helps us identify the problem.
  4. Follow any reasonable activation or verification steps we provide so we can confirm whether the issue relates to licence validity.
  5. Once the issue is confirmed, we will provide the appropriate resolution under this Warranty Information and the applicable customer policies.

We aim to review warranty enquiries promptly. Where a replacement or refund is approved, the applicable processing timeframe is explained in our Refund & Returns Policy.

Warranty Information Before You Buy

Before ordering, review the product page carefully to confirm the edition, device compatibility, licence type, subscription term where applicable, and any other product-specific conditions. If your purchase depends on a particular activation, transfer, device, or user right, contact us before ordering so we can clarify the available product information.

Our Product Authenticity & Sourcing page explains how Golavon describes licence types and sourcing, while our Licence Terms page explains the relationship between the product sold by Golavon and the manufacturer's applicable software licence terms.
