These Licence Terms explain how software licences purchased from GOLAVON LIMITED through golavon.com may be used after delivery. They are separate from our Terms & Conditions, which govern the sale itself. These Licence Terms should also be read with our Product Authenticity & Sourcing, Warranty Information, and the product-specific information shown before purchase.
1. Licence Terms: Who Sets the Rules for Software Use
GOLAVON LIMITED sells or supplies the software licence or subscription described on the applicable product page. We are the seller and, where applicable, participate in the Microsoft partner ecosystem; however, the software itself is licensed under the terms established by Microsoft or the relevant software publisher.
Your right to install, activate, access, transfer, or otherwise use the software depends on the specific product, licence type, and applicable manufacturer agreement. Microsoft software may be governed by the relevant Microsoft Product Terms, product-specific licence agreement, End User Licence Agreement (EULA), or subscription terms.
If these Licence Terms conflict with the manufacturer's applicable licence terms on a matter of software use, the manufacturer's terms take precedence for that use. Golavon's sales, delivery, refund, and customer-support obligations remain governed by our own customer policies and applicable law.
2. What Golavon Delivers Under These Licence Terms
We are responsible for supplying the product described in your order, including the relevant digital licence key, subscription entitlement, activation information, or account-related fulfilment details where applicable.
The product page should be reviewed before purchase because it identifies the edition, intended platform, device or user scope where stated, subscription term where applicable, and other important product conditions. 3. Licence Types and Their Typical Terms
Different Microsoft products can be offered under different licensing channels. The exact rights depend on the specific product and the applicable Microsoft terms, so the descriptions below are general guidance rather than a substitute for the product-specific agreement.
- OEM: commonly associated with a particular device or hardware installation. Transfer rights and reactivation conditions depend on the applicable product terms.
- Retail / FPP: retail licensing may permit transfer in some circumstances, subject to the applicable Microsoft licence terms and removal from any previous device where required.
- Volume: intended for eligible organisational licensing scenarios and subject to the applicable volume licensing agreement and product terms.
- CSP / Cloud Solution Provider: cloud or subscription products may be supplied through the Microsoft partner ecosystem and can be subject to account, tenant, user, term, and renewal conditions.
These Licence Terms do not create transfer, device, user, downgrade, upgrade, or re-use rights that are not provided by the applicable manufacturer terms. If your intended use depends on a specific right, contact us before ordering at contact@golavon.com.
4. Licence Terms for Permitted Use and Restrictions
You must use the software in accordance with the licence supplied and the applicable manufacturer agreement. Depending on the product, restrictions may apply to the number of users, devices, virtual machines, servers, installations, activations, or subscription accounts.
You must not knowingly use a licence in a way that breaches the applicable software agreement. This includes using the licence for more devices or users than permitted, bypassing licensing or activation controls, or redistributing licence credentials where the applicable terms do not allow redistribution.
Where transfer or reassignment is important to your purchase, confirm the exact licence type and applicable rules before ordering. General descriptions on this page should not be treated as a guarantee that every product can be transferred or reactivated in the same way.
5. Licence Terms and Software Ownership
Purchasing a software licence does not transfer ownership of the software, trademarks, source code, or other intellectual property. Microsoft Corporation and other relevant rights holders retain ownership of their software and intellectual property.
A licence gives you permission to use the software subject to the applicable agreement. The scope of that permission is determined by the product and licence terms rather than by ownership of the software itself.
6. Support Responsibilities
Golavon handles enquiries about the order we supplied, digital delivery, the product purchased, licence validity, and activation issues connected with the supplied licence. For general software operation, feature support, updates, or product troubleshooting unrelated to licence validity, customers may also use Microsoft Support.
