Copyright & Takedown Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026

GOLAVON LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others, including Microsoft Corporation and any other rights holder, and expects the same from anyone using golavon.com (the "Website"). This policy explains how to report suspected copyright or trademark infringement and how we handle such reports.

Our Approach to Third-Party IP

We use manufacturer names, product names, and trademarks (such as "Microsoft", "Windows", "Office", and "Microsoft 365") solely to identify the genuine, authorised licences we sell. These are registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Their use on this Website is descriptive/nominative only, and does not by itself imply that Microsoft Corporation owns, runs, endorses, or is otherwise affiliated with GOLAVON LIMITED, beyond the authorised Microsoft Partner relationship described on our Product Authenticity & Sourcing page — see our Disclaimer for the full trademark notice. We do not knowingly host, distribute, or link to pirated software, cracked activation tools, or content that infringes anyone's copyright or trademark rights.

How to Report Suspected Infringement

If you are a rights holder (or authorised to act on a rights holder's behalf) and believe content on the Website infringes your copyright or trademark, send a written notice to contact@golavon.com with the subject line "Copyright/Trademark Notice". We aim to handle notices in a manner consistent with recognised notice-and-takedown frameworks — including the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) for US-based rights holders such as Microsoft Corporation, and UK/EU equivalents where applicable — and ask that your notice include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark you believe is being infringed.
  2. The specific URL(s) or location on the Website where the material appears.
  3. Your full name, organisation (if applicable), and contact details.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury (or the applicable equivalent in your jurisdiction), that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.
  7. What Happens After a Report

We will investigate valid notices promptly and, where a genuine infringement is confirmed, remove or disable access to the material without undue delay. We will notify the party responsible for the content, where identifiable, and give them an opportunity to respond before any final action, except where immediate removal is necessary.

Counter-Notification

If you believe content of yours was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to contact@golavon.com including:

  1. Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
  2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your name, address, and contact details.
  4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales for resolving any dispute about the material.
  5. Repeat Infringers

Any user or seller found to be a repeat or deliberate infringer of third-party intellectual property rights through the Website will have their account suspended or terminated.

Trademark Concerns From Microsoft or Other Rights Holders

If Microsoft Corporation or another rights holder has a concern about how their trademark or product is represented on this Website (rather than a claim of piracy or infringing content), please also use the contact details above — we take these concerns seriously given our status as an authorised Microsoft Partner, and will respond promptly.
