Report Security Issues

Last updated: 22 August 2026

GOLAVON LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") takes the security of golavon.com and our customers' data seriously. This page explains how to report a security concern, whether you're a customer who's spotted something suspicious or a security researcher who's found a vulnerability.

1. If You're a Customer

If you notice anything that looks like:

  • a suspicious or phishing email pretending to be from GOLAVON LIMITED,
  • unauthorised activity on an order you placed,
  • a fake or copycat website impersonating golavon.com,

contact us straight away at contact@golavon.com or +44 798 859 8701 with as much detail as you can (screenshots, the sender's email address, the suspicious URL). We'll investigate and, where relevant, warn other customers and take down impersonating content where we're able to.

We will never ask you for your full card number, password, or a one-time passcode by email or phone. If you're asked for these "by us," it isn't us — please report it.

2. If You're a Security Researcher

We welcome good-faith reports of genuine security vulnerabilities affecting golavon.com (for example: cross-site scripting, SQL injection, authentication or authorisation flaws, exposed sensitive data, or server misconfigurations).

What's in scope

  • The golavon.com website and checkout flow.
  • Any subdomains we operate directly.

What's out of scope

  • Our third-party payment processor, email provider, or hosting infrastructure — please report issues in those services directly to their own security teams.
  • Denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) testing.
  • Social engineering of our staff or customers.
  • Spam or automated form submissions.
  • Findings that require physical access to a device or account you don't own.

How to report

Email contact@golavon.com with the subject line "Security Report" and include:

  1. A clear description of the vulnerability and its potential impact.
  2. Step-by-step instructions to reproduce it.
  3. Any relevant screenshots, requests, or proof-of-concept code.
  4. Your contact details, if you'd like us to follow up or credit you.

What we ask of you

  • Give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and fix an issue before disclosing it publicly.
  • Don't access, modify, or delete data that isn't yours — a proof of concept should stop at demonstrating the flaw exists.
  • Don't use automated scanners that generate excessive traffic against our systems.
  • Act in good faith and avoid any action that could disrupt the service for other customers.

What you can expect from us

  • Acknowledgement of your report within 3 business days.
  • An honest update on whether the issue is confirmed, and roughly when a fix is expected.
  • No legal action against researchers who follow this policy in good faith, even if a report turns out to be a false positive.

Refund & Returns Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

At GOLAVON LIMITED ("we", "us", "our"), we want you to be confident buying from golavon.com. This policy explains, in plain terms, when you're entitled to a refund, how to claim one, and how this fits with the digital nature of what we sell. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions (Section 5), Cancellation Policy, Billing Policy, and Warranty Information.

1. The Short Version

Situation

Outcome

You haven't received your license and it's been delivered

Full refund

Your license key is invalid, already used, or won't activate

Free replacement, or full refund if we can't fix it

The license doesn't match what was described (wrong product/edition)

Free correction, or full refund

You simply changed your mind after a working license was delivered

Not eligible — see Section 3

You want to cancel a future subscription renewal

Not a refund — see our Cancellation Policy instead

2. When You're Entitled to a Refund or Replacement

You are entitled to a free replacement license and/or a full refund if:

  • you paid but never received your license within the guaranteed delivery window (see our Delivery Policy);
  • your license key is invalid, rejected by the manufacturer's activation system, or was already redeemed by someone else before you received it;
  • the product delivered doesn't match what you ordered (e.g. wrong edition, wrong license type, or wrong product entirely);
  • the license otherwise fails to work as described through no fault of your own.

These rights exist under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and apply regardless of whether the 14-day general cancellation window (Section 3) has passed.

How to claim: Email contact@golavon.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 1 business day and, once confirmed, to resolve valid claims (replacement or refund) within 5 business days.

3. When Refunds Don't Apply — Digital Content

3.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you would normally have a 14-day right to cancel an online order for any reason (sometimes called "buyer's remorse").

3.2 For digital licenses, this right ends once delivery has taken place, because at checkout you expressly asked us to begin immediate delivery and confirmed you understood this would end your cancellation right. This is standard practice for digital products across the industry, since a delivered license key cannot practically be "handed back."

3.3 This means we're unable to offer a refund simply because you no longer want a license that was correctly supplied and works as described. It does not limit your rights under Section 2 above if something has actually gone wrong with your order.

4. Subscriptions & Renewals

This policy covers one-off purchases and problems with what was delivered. If you want to stop a subscription from renewing in future, that isn't a refund request — see our Cancellation Policy and Billing Policy for how to cancel a renewal before you're charged again.

Where a subscription renewal is charged in error (e.g. after you had already cancelled in time), contact us and we will refund that charge in full.

5. Restocking Fees & Physical Returns

Because every product we sell is a digital license with no physical component, there is no restocking fee, and no item is ever returned to us physically. Refunds, where due under this policy, are issued in full for the affected order.

6. How Refunds Are Paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout, normally within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your card issuer or payment provider's own processing times.

7. Misuse & Fraud

We reserve the right to decline a refund or replacement where there is evidence that a license was activated and used before a claim was made on false grounds, or where a chargeback is raised for a license that was validly delivered and used (see our Billing Policy, Section 7).

Product Authenticity & Sourcing

Last updated: 22 August 2026

We know that buying a software license online, rather than in a shop, means you can't hold the box in your hands before you pay. This page explains exactly where our licenses come from, how we're authorised to sell them, and how you can verify all of this yourself before you buy.

1. We Are an Authorised Microsoft Partner

GOLAVON LIMITED is an authorised Microsoft Partner. This isn't a marketing label we've chosen for ourselves — it's a status granted and verifiable directly through Microsoft.

  • Partner name: GOLAVON LIMITED
  • Microsoft Partner ID (MPN ID): [insert your MPN ID here]
  • Verify our status directly: Verify our Microsoft Partner profile →
  • You're also welcome to email us at contact@golavon.com before you order and we'll point you to the exact record.

We're an independent reseller, not a subsidiary or division of Microsoft Corporation — our Partner status means we're authorised to source and sell genuine licenses, not that Microsoft operates this Website. See our Disclaimer for the full trademark notice.

2. Where Our Licenses Come From

Every license we sell is sourced through channels consistent with our Microsoft Partner status — meaning:

  • We do not sell keys pulled from cancelled or fraudulently-obtained subscriptions.
  • We do not sell keys sourced from unverified third-party marketplaces with no chain of accountability.
  • Volume and CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) subscription licenses are provisioned directly through Microsoft's partner channel under our Partner status.
  • OEM and Retail (FPP) licenses are sourced from legitimate distribution channels, consistent with the license type stated on the product page.

If you'd like more detail on the sourcing route for a specific product before you buy, email us — we're happy to explain.

3. License Types — What You're Actually Buying

Each product page states the exact license type. In brief:

License type

What it means

OEM

Tied to the device it's first activated on; not transferable to a new PC.

Retail (FPP)

Can generally be transferred to a new device if you stop using it on the original one.

Volume

Licensed for organisational use under Microsoft's volume licensing terms.

CSP (Cloud Solution Provider)

A subscription tied to your Microsoft account, provisioned through an authorised partner (us).

Actual use rights are always governed by the manufacturer's end-user license agreement (EULA), not by us — check the product page or ask before ordering if the license type matters for your use case.

4. Quality Checks Before You Receive Your License

Before a license is issued to you, our process includes:

  • confirming the key or subscription credential is valid and unused;
  • matching the product, edition, and license type to what you ordered;
  • verifying it activates correctly wherever this can be checked prior to dispatch.

5. If You Have Concerns About a License

If you ever suspect a license we've sold you isn't genuine, or it fails Microsoft's own activation/verification checks, tell us immediately at contact@golavon.com with your order number. We will investigate and, where the concern is valid, provide a free replacement or a full refund under our Warranty Information and Refund & Returns Policy — we take this more seriously than almost anything else, because our Partner status depends on it.

6. Why This Matters

The digital software resale market includes some sellers offering keys at prices that are only possible because the keys are misused, region-locked, or sourced outside their intended terms — these can be revoked by the manufacturer without warning, leaving the buyer with nothing. Buying from an authorised, verifiable Microsoft Partner is how you avoid that risk.
