At Golavon, Product Authenticity & Sourcing is an important part of how we operate. We understand that buying a software licence online requires trust, so this page explains where our licences come from, how our Microsoft Partner status can be verified, and what customers can check before purchasing.

1. Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program Membership

GOLAVON LIMITED is a member of the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program. Our partner information can be independently verified through Microsoft.

Golavon is an independent reseller and is not a subsidiary or division of Microsoft Corporation. Our Microsoft Partner status relates to our participation in Microsoft's partner ecosystem and does not mean Microsoft owns or operates this website.

2. Product Authenticity & Sourcing

Our Product Authenticity & Sourcing process is designed to ensure that the software licences we supply correspond to the product, edition and licence type described on the relevant product page.

Golavon's current offers are supplied through Retail licensing channels unless the relevant product page explicitly states a different channel, such as CSP. Product-specific access models, such as Device CAL, are stated separately on the relevant product page.

  • We do not intentionally source software keys from anonymous or unverified marketplaces.
  • CSP products are supplied through Microsoft partner channels where applicable.
  • Retail licences are identified as Retail on the relevant product page. Products using another confirmed channel, such as CSP, are labelled accordingly.
  • Product details are reviewed before fulfilment to help ensure that the licence supplied matches the customer's order.

3. Licence Types

Each product page states the applicable licence type or licensing channel. Common licence types may include:

Licence Type

General Description

OEM

Normally associated with the device on which it is first activated. Transfer rights depend on the applicable Microsoft licence terms.

Retail (FPP)

A retail licence intended for individual use, subject to Microsoft's applicable product and transfer terms.

Volume

Licensing intended for organisational use under the applicable Microsoft volume licensing terms.

CSP

A Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider offer supplied through the Microsoft partner ecosystem, subject to the specific product and subscription terms.

Final licence and usage rights are governed by Microsoft's applicable product terms, licence agreement and product-specific conditions.

4. Quality Checks Before Delivery

Before a software licence or subscription is supplied, our fulfilment process may include:

  • checking the ordered product and edition;
  • confirming the relevant licence type;
  • reviewing fulfilment information before digital delivery;
  • providing the customer with the appropriate activation or access information.

5. If You Have Concerns About a Licence

If you experience an activation issue or believe that a licence supplied by Golavon does not correspond to the product ordered, please contact us at contact@golavon.com and include your order number.

We will review the issue and apply the appropriate resolution in accordance with our Warranty Information and Refund & Returns Policy.

6. Why Product Authenticity Matters

Software licences can differ by edition, region, device eligibility, licensing channel and usage rights. Product Authenticity & Sourcing information helps customers understand who is supplying the licence, what type of product they are purchasing, and how the seller's business and partner information can be verified.
