Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using golavon.com responsibly. It applies to everyone who visits, browses, or orders from the Website, and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Licence Terms.
You Agree Not To
Provide false, incomplete, or someone else's identity or payment details when placing an order. Use a stolen, unauthorised, or fraudulently obtained payment method. Raise a chargeback or payment dispute in bad faith for a licence that was correctly delivered and used — see our Billing Policy. Create multiple accounts or orders to improperly claim refunds, promotions, or discounts more than once. Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract pricing, product, or other data from the Website at scale, or to place orders automatically. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, our systems, or another customer's account or order — genuine security research should instead follow our Report Security Issues policy. Upload or transmit any virus, malware, or harmful code through our contact forms or any other part of the Website. Use the Website to harass, abuse, or threaten our staff or other users. Use a licence purchased from us in a way that breaches the manufacturer's End User Licence Agreement — see our Licence Terms. Use the Website for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaches UK law or the rights of any third party.
Your Responsibility for Your Account and Orders
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide at checkout and for keeping any account credentials you create with us confidential. If you believe your account or order has been used without your permission, contact us immediately at contact@golavon.com.
What Happens If This Policy Is Breached
Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may, depending on the severity, refuse, cancel, or delay an order, suspend or close an account, withhold a refund or replacement that would otherwise be due where the claim itself was made in bad faith, or report suspected fraud to the relevant authorities and, where relevant, to our payment processor or Microsoft.
We'll always try to resolve a genuine misunderstanding directly with you first — this policy is aimed at deliberate misuse, not honest mistakes.
Reporting a Violation
If you believe someone is misusing the Website (for example, impersonating GOLAVON LIMITED, or attempting fraud through our platform), tell us at contact@golavon.com.
