GOLAVON LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") wants golavon.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including customers using assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or voice recognition software.

Our Commitment

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a practical benchmark for accessibility, even where we are not strictly required to. This includes efforts such as: providing clear, readable text and sufficient colour contrast; structuring pages with meaningful headings so they work well with screen readers; making sure the checkout process can be completed using a keyboard alone; providing descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.

A Note on Legal Scope

As a small UK business (a microenterprise under the relevant EU thresholds — fewer than 10 employees and turnover under €2 million), GOLAVON LIMITED is not required to comply with the European Accessibility Act's e-commerce accessibility rules that took effect on 28 June 2025. We're choosing to follow WCAG 2.1 AA as good practice regardless, and this exemption doesn't apply to our separate obligations under the UK Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled customers, which we take seriously in how we operate.

Known Limitations

We're an evolving small business, and some parts of the Website (for example, certain third-party checkout or payment provider screens, which we don't control) may not yet fully meet every WCAG 2.1 AA criterion. We're working to improve this over time.
