When ‌GOLAVON ‌LIMITED ‌began, the simplest question was on everyone's lips: why can't I buy a real Microsoft licence online without taking a risk? If you've ever been on a site shopping for Windows or Office keys, you've seen the numbers: dozens and dozens of listings for 'genuine' keys, prices that don't make sense when compared to Microsoft's own prices, and absolutely no way to distinguish between the honest seller and the one selling a key that'll get revoked the second Microsoft sees where it came from. We founded Golavon because we were sick of seeing people get screwed like that, and because we knew there had to be a better way to run this sort of business.

Who We Are

We're a UK registered company, Company No. 17164826, operating out of Ayr, Scotland. We're a business that sells genuine digital software licences for Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365 directly to individuals, freelancers, and small businesses who simply want to buy the software to use without all the hassle. We are an authorised Microsoft Partner; not a title we chose for ourselves, but a designation that Microsoft allows us to carry because we've earned it and that can be independently verified, meaning every single key we sell passes through channels that we can truly account for. Our Story

When Golavon began, we weren't a large business with stock to move from warehouses. Like many a small reseller before us, we found ourselves asking the simple question of why does buying software online carry the risk that it does? The answer was easy decades ago: you go into a store and you see the box in front of you and you know you can trust the shelf it was on. Digital software resale never really had that trust infrastructure, and many many people took advantage. We didn't want to be one of them, so rather than chasing the lowest price possible by cutting corners on the channel we bought our keys through, we built our business on the inverse bet: customers would rather pay a fair price to a seller who can prove the provenance of their key than to a suspiciously cheap key from someone who has no accountability whatsoever.

How We Source and Verify Every Licence

We source every single key we sell in a manner wholly consistent with our authorised Microsoft Partner status, meaning no cancelled subscription keys, no key scraping from unverified resale marketplaces, and no region-locked stock being sold outside of terms. We verify every single key or subscription credential we sell is valid, unused, and matches exactly what you ordered with regards to edition and license type before it goes out the door to you. Our product pages clearly indicate for OEM, Retail, Volume, and CSP licences which have different terms and conditions around transferability and device usage so that you know exactly what to expect after you've paid.

What We Actually Promise

There are three things that we at Golavon operate with that are non-negotiable, and not simply for marketing: we promise you a genuine key that we verify before it goes out the door to you and matches exactly what you ordered, we promise you fast delivery (the vast majority of our keys are delivered within minutes of payment, with guaranteed 30 minute delivery times from payment, all of which is documented in greater detail on our Delivery Policy), and we promise you real support when things go wrong, meaning if your key won't activate, it's our problem to deal with, not something you have to struggle to troubleshoot at 11pm some night with a Microsoft error code because we'll pick up the phone when you do. Why Authorised Partner Status Actually Matters

It costs absolutely nothing to add the text '100% genuine' to a product listing. Anyone can do it. It costs a lot more to have a verifiable relationship with the business whose product you're reselling that you can truly carry the title of, and that's exactly what Microsoft Partner status is: documentation and a verifiable Partner ID that we have as a business that we can't carry with get away with if we start being careless with the channel our stock comes from. It's the actual product we're selling as much as the licence key itself.

The vast majority of our customers are individuals who are setting up their new computer or rolling a new install of Windows, freelancers who need a legitimate Office licence to use for work clients, or small businesses buying a few keys at a time who don't want to deal with the on-boarding process of an enterprise sales cycle.
